Welcome to the website of Stargazing Tents, a company dedicated to the rental of camping equipment within national territory. By using our website or making a reservation, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Purpose

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website and distance contracts established between Stargazing Tents and its customers regarding the rental of camping equipment.

Services Provided

Stargazing Tents offers a range of camping equipment for rent, including tents, sleeping bags, lanterns, and more. All equipment is inspected and cleaned before each rental.

Rental Process

Customers must book the Base Pack via Airbnb, selecting the desired equipment and the pickup/return dates.
Additional packs must be rented directly through the support team.
The reservation is only considered valid after full payment (100%) of the total rental value.

Pricing and Payments

Payment can be made via Airbnb, Atlistis, WIX and the Stripe platform.
A pre-authorization on a credit card may be requested and released after verifying the condition of the equipment upon return.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made up to 14 days before check-in: full refund.
Stargazing Tents reserves the right to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case the customer will receive a full refund.

Customer Obligations

Ensure the proper care and use of the equipment.
Return all items by the agreed date and in the same condition as received.
Immediately report any damage, loss, or theft.
Failure to comply may result in additional charges or forfeiture of the pre-authorized amount, according to the current Penalties Table.

Liability

Stargazing Tents is not responsible for accidents, damage, or losses caused by improper use of the rented equipment.

Intellectual Property

All website content (images, text, logos, etc.) is the property of Stargazing Tents. Reproduction or use without prior authorization is strictly prohibited.

Personal Data

The processing of users’ personal data complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.
